Originally a 500 sq. ft. 1924 honeymoon cottage, Brock Larsen designed and built a 1253 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 2-bath architectural gem, designed to preserve the original Batchelder tile fireplace. This house deliberately pays homage to classic LA architecture—a reimagined Spanish-style thumbnail window, California Spanish-style ceiling beams and thick plaster, and Moderne floor-to-ceiling windows mingled with original windows. This house still retains the romance and charm of a honeymoon cottage.
